The story
From prints to patterns
rym began in 2014, started by a graphic design graduate who found the usual run of logos and business cards a little uninspiring. Pattern felt like it belonged somewhere bolder — so it went onto silk scarves first, then graphic tees, ties, pocket squares, bags and bracelets, each made in small, exclusive runs under the name RYM Clothing.
In the early days of the pandemic, curiosity took over. Wanting to branch out beyond fashion, that same instinct for pattern turned toward light — cutting the same kind of intricate detail not into fabric, but into metal, and letting it play out as shadow instead of print. rym.dsgn was the result: pattern, unbound from clothing, thrown across walls and floors instead.
